In 2019, while serving time at HMP Styal, I founded Off-the-Cuff magazine with the invaluable support of the Women in Prison charity and Salford University. Thanks to the enthusiasm and talent of our newly formed editorial board, the magazine quickly evolved into a vital platform, enabling women to share news, perspectives, and creative work.

Publishing a high-quality magazine within the constraints of a prison setting was no small feat, but it remains one of my proudest achievements. The second issue of Off-the-Cuff (included here) was presented to the House of Parliament as part of a lobbying package, earning well-deserved attention and praise from MPs.

In 2021, the editorial board of Off-the-Cuff reunited to establish the Open Justice Initiative, continuing our mission to amplify voices and champion reform.
